Adriana Arrizón (she/her/ella), Executive Director
Adriana has over 25 years of experience working in the private and public health sectors of Alameda, Stanislaus, Marin, and Sonoma counties. She is the daughter of migrant farmworkers and influenced by her grandmother, social advocate and former Mexican DIF president. Adriana understands that it’s authentic and meaningful connections that drive change and that a community’s vitality is greatly dependent on its members being fully engaged and active participants in their own wellbeing. Her experience includes culturally responsive health program development, implementation, and evaluation. Adriana has worked in maternal & child health, early care & education, public health disaster response management, community & civic engagement, health & social system coordination, policy development, and organizational development and administration. She became an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant in 2010 to provide culturally responsive support to families and address systemic inequities in the Latine community in Sonoma County. Adriana enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and nurturing her two sons.

Saskia Garcia (she/her), Director of Strategy and Integration
Fitting in is the opposite of belonging, and we need to work on that belonging- Brene Brown
Saskia has over 7 years of experience in the public and nonprofit sectors in Sonoma County. Saskia supports a culture, for Sonoma County and beyond, that values and embodies respect as the highest form of love. She believes in encouraging and trusting individuals and communities to lead and be active participants in their own healing. Saskia’s experience includes grants and financial management, public health policy systems and environment changes, performance and quality improvement, and working across multiple programs including houselessness and housing solutions, immigration, senior services, financial stability, and disaster recovery. Saskia enjoys making new friends, nature, spending time with her partner, and playing with her dog, Kiki.

Dana Swilley (she/her), Assistant Director
Dana was raised in Sonoma County and has over 10 years of experience in higher education, hospital, and community healthcare. Dana recently completed her Master’s degree in Public Health from University of North Carolina and is passionate about using evidence-based practices to increase overall community success and health equity. She believes in building capacity within individuals, organizations, and communities to address social determinants of health. Dana’s experience includes project management, program evaluation, clinical research, data analysis, clinic coordination, community outreach and engagement, health policy and social justice. Dana enjoys traveling, knitting, comedy podcasts, and adventuring with her husband and two rescue dogs.

Anahí Malfavon Castañeda (she/her/ella), Senior Program Manager
Anahí has a deep commitment to social justice and traces her roots back to Mexico. At the age of 5, Anahí emigrated with her family to California. From an early age, she fell in love with the idea of creating a world where equity and fairness prevail. Anahí has a degree in Health Science and 9 years of experience in the private and public healthcare sector. She is also trained in Trauma Informed Care, DEIB, ACE’s, and Motivational Interviewing. Driven by an unwavering belief in the need for systemic change, Anahí made a pivotal decision to transition to the nonprofit sector. Here, she found the platform to channel her passion for social justice into meaningful action. Anahí firmly believes that we are all stewards of justice, responsible for amplifying the voices silenced by systemic inequities. In her downtime, Anahí enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and being in nature whenever possible.

Tara Witten (she/her), Program Manager of Social and Health Technology Integration
Tara brings over 10 years of experience working at the intersection of health and education. She holds a Master's in Public Health and has designed and launched national and regional health promotion initiatives, creating practical training, tools, and resources that support teams and organizations. Tara's experience spans program development, training facilitation, collaborative partnerships, and evaluation design. She thrives on deep listening, learning, and turning ideas into action. When she's not working, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband, their two kids, and exploring all of the wonderful pastry shops in Sonoma County.

Mariana Raschke (she/her/ella), Program Manager of Communications
Mariana was born in Colombia and immigrated to Sonoma County, CA as a child. She’s bilingual and bicultural. Mariana has B.A in Print and Online Journalism and a minor in Labor Studies from San Francisco State University, and also a certificate in e-Learning Instructional Design from UC Irvine. Along with her experience with storytelling and a passion for the visual communication of data and information, Mariana brings experience working with nonprofits and community-based organizations where she helped to advance trauma-informed practices in multidisciplinary fields through e-Learning training modules she developed, as well as providing support and essential services to community members. Mariana enjoys reading and visiting the many parks of Sonoma County with friends and family.

Zara Perts-Nash (she/her), Program Coordinator
Zara is dedicated to health advocacy and strives to pursue social justice. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Policy and Administration, and pursued her degree online to stay grounded in the North Bay where she grew up. Zara’s previous experience as a Certified Medical Assistant strengthened her determination to make systemic changes in health equity. Her passion for nonprofit work started at 16 when she partnered with Blood Centers of the Pacific to organize and host regular blood drives at her school campus. Through advocacy and policy changes, Zara aspires to create foundations for a healthier future. She believes in the power of uplifting marginalized voices and listening to those who have been most affected by injustice. In her free time, Zara enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and spending time with loved ones.

Sofia Tecpoyotl-Ramos (she/her/ella), Program Coordinator
Sofia was born in the Central Valley to farm workers but was later raised here in Sonoma County. She is a first generation Mexican-American with Indigenous roots, and since she was a child has been passionate about leadership, community service, education, social engagement and culture. She believes in creating healing practices that will help improve the quality of life for others within the community, state, federal and even at the global level. Sofia received an A.A in Political Science and Social and Behavioral Sciences from Santa Rosa Junior College. She later went off to receive a B.A in Political Science and a minor in Global and International Studies from the University of California, Davis. Sofia’s experience includes social justice and advocacy, administrative work in higher education, coalition work, community outreach and engagement, policy writing, and program assistance evaluation. In her free time, Sofia enjoys learning new languages, traveling, concerts, trying new food, and spending time with her loved ones.

Alexis Sendall (she/her), Program Coordinator of Social and Health Technology Integration
Alexis was born and raised in Sonoma County. She attended Santa Rosa Junior College where she received an A.A in Social and Behavioral Sciences, an Associate Teacher Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, and then went on to receive multiple certifications in Human Resource Management. Alexis has always been passionate about working with people, making connections, building and maintaining relationships, education, serving the community and the transformative change that comes with those things. She believes in advocating for oneself, advocating for children and families, and collaboratively advocating for systemic change. She has experience working in Early Childhood Education, Human Resources, administrative services, health systems, patient logistics and medical transport services. Alexis has a dog and a cat that she adores, and when she is not out walking or hiking with her dog Benji, she likes to be at home and watch TV shows, listen to informative podcasts, do art projects, and garden.

Marlon Montoya (he/him/el), Community Organizer
Marlon is a dedicated community advocate and a Certified Community Health Worker (2023). He worked as a Bilingual Parent Educator at Child Parent Institute (CPI), where he is certified in Positive Parenting Program (Triple P), Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Originally from Honduras, Marlon immigrated to the U.S. in 2009 at the age of 15. His journey has fueled his passion for creating opportunities that empower individuals and strengthen communities. Through his work as a bilingual parent educator, he has developed a deep understanding of the systemic changes needed to address inequities and provide families with the resources they need to thrive. Beyond his professional role, Marlon is actively engaged in community initiatives, including outreach efforts, focus groups, and organizing community events. He volunteers with food distribution programs and has served as a dispatcher and a leader in a three-day walk from Petaluma to San Francisco advocating for social change. Marlon firmly believes that a person’s well-being is shaped by their environment, and he is committed to fostering spaces where individuals feel supported and empowered. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending quality time with loved ones.
